REPRESENTATIVE OF FEDERAL BAILIFFS SERVICE TAKES PART IN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE (MOLDOVA, KISHINEV, 17-18 SEPTEMBER 2015)

An international theoretical and practical conference: “Status of the judicial officer and development of enforcement proceedings” (herein after the Conference) was held in the city of Kishinev (Moldova) from 17 to 18 September 2015. A representative of the Federal Bailiffs’ Service of Russia took part in the Conference.

The Conference discussed development of the status of the judicial officer on the example of experience in Moldova and Armenia; ethics of bailiffs in Moldova as well as ethics and disciplinary proceedings in Latvia; influence of the estate on the image of a judicial officer in England and Wales; reforms and prospects of development of enforcement proceedings in Belorussia and others.

The Russian Federation was represented by Andrey Abramov, Head of Enforcement Appeal Department of the Federal Bailiffs’ Service of Russia, who made a report: “The status of the bailiff and development of enforcement proceeding”.

In his report, Mr. Abramov told in detail about the status of the bailiff in Russia and about outlooks of development of enforcement laws.

The Conference was also attended by representatives of competent bodies of foreign states.
