Representatives of the Federal Bailiffs’ Service of the Russian Federation take part in Russian-French seminar on compulsory enforcement
A French-Russian seminar on compulsory enforcement has been held from 9 to 10 April 2018 in Paris.
The delegation of the Federal Bailiff’s Service of Russia included: Head of Office of State Register and Control over Debt-Collection Companies Ivan Nikolayev, Deputy Head of Legal Department Valentina Yefimova, Deputy Head of Department for Organization of Enforcement Proceedings Olesya Bryksina.
The National Association of Bailiffs of France was represented by: Vice-President of the Association Patrick Safar, Bailiff and International Expert Jeremy Bénichou and Bailiff Frederic Landez.
Patrick Safer presented the Russian delegation work of the National Association of Bailiffs of France by telling about work peculiarities of French bailiffs.
During the seminar there were discussions regarding development of French private enforcement system, efficiency assessment criteria for bailiffs, interaction of private bailiffs and professional ones. Additionally, participants of the seminar discussed powers of bailiffs in enforcement, procedure of enforcement of court orders regarding minor amounts, as well as debts for benefit of the state.
The seminar ended into meeting of representatives of the Federal Bailiff’s Service of Russia with the President of the National Association of Bailiffs of France Patrick Sannino.
